Staycation 206: Cap Hill Plan
Well. Its officially spring break for me. Sadly this does not mean I'm currently typing this post on a secluded beach while sipping a fruity drink, I'm actually just laying in bed craving Thai food take-out. However, I do not plan on spending all my time hibernating in my room. This break I'm going to try to visit as many (semi) local places as possible. In fact, I might just do a little segment I'll call Staycation 206 (serious movie announcer voice).
To start out this series I'll share a few places I plan on visiting on Capitol Hill tomorrow (or at some point next week). *PSA: this series is probably going to involve a lot of food *
Alive & Well
Why: Lets just say I might Instagram stalk this store and would have to say according to my research their employees happen to fairly awesome. Not to mention they carry a lot of great streetwear brands that I would love to check out.
Stussy Seattle
Why: Have you seen the new Stussy tie dye shirts? I'm kind of obsessed and almost bought one at Zumiez yesterday. So I'm pretty excited to visit the actual store in Seattle.
Red Light Vintage
Why: One time I found a New Kids on the Block neon sweater. That is all.
Why: I have a serious obsession with chicken and waffles and I've never actually visited an actual southern style/ soul food restaurant. Always excited for lunch.
602 19th Ave E, Seattle, WA 98112
Why: I've been wanting to get a second ear piercing for a while now and the hipster part of Seattle seems like the perfect location (plus it happens to be really close to Red Light Vintage).
219 Broadway E Seattle, WA 98102
So, once I visit the Hill this break I will write up another post and hopefully have some pictures as well! In the meantime, feel free to comment with your favorite locations below. I'm also most probably visiting Portland for a few hours on Monday so if you have any hints I would love to hear them.
