"Lamborghini Mercy"

First of all, I apologize for the lack of posts lately, I have started school and so there's not a ton time to take outfit photos and such. However, I just had to share with my lovely readers that I finally got a pair of wedge sneakers! Let me tell you, at first when I heard about the wedge sneaker trend I was not sold..especially because those Isabel Marant ones are so bulky but as usual it grew on me. I love these shoes because they have that hip-hop kind of vibe and they're a great alternative to ankle boots for the fall. Not to mention, these ones were only $55 at DSW..much less than say the Jeffrey Campbell ones! Oh I should also say that I've been running quite a lot this week,  I ran 3.25 miles on Tuesday, Wednesday and today..which may not seem like much but I think its the most I've ever run in a week. Listening to rap and hip-hop music helps a ton! If you haven't heard "Thrift Shop" by Macklemore definitely check it out (they actually filmed part of the music video at one of my favorite vintage stores in Seattle) , and Mercy by Kanye West featuring a ton of other guys is also a sufficiently simple song to jog too :)! Anyways, I hope you all had a great week and on Monday I have a casting for "Prep Sportswear" so if that goes well I'll tell you all about it! It may not be exactly haute couture but it should still be interesting.
